For the last few years we’ve been using International Yacht Coatings products and we are quite happy with their most comprehensive range available to suit every budget, season and environmental requirements.
International Yacht Coatings are worldwide leaders with the International® and Interlux® brandnames, offer coatings with the latest and safest antifouling.
As the world leader in marine coatings technology, International has a long and successful history of innovation in both antifouling and fouling control systems and remains fully committed to research programs designed to meet the product performance and regulatory requirements of today's vessel operator.
As a result of pioneering the concept of self polishing copolymer antifoulings in the early 1970’s, International’s overall contribution to the fuel efficiency technology and the toughest protection for yachts from the smallest dinghy to the largest and most luxurious superyacht of the global fleet has been significant.
|High strength, ablative antifouling that is an ideal economic option for most yachts and powercraft.||Hard, scrubbable antifouling ideally suited to underwater areas subject to high turbulence such as propellers and shafts.|
|Medium performance, hard antifouling suitable for all substrates including aluminium. Offers protection in medium fouling conditions where a hard, scrubbable antifouling is required.||A high strength self polishing antifouling containing Biolux. It provides a smooth, hard, slippery surface which deters fouling attachment, and can be burnished. Ideal for fast powerboats and craft on dry moorings.|
Trilux is specifically developed for use on aluminum boats, outdrives and outboards. Trilux, unlike other antifouling paints, does not use cuprous oxide. Trilux uses Cuprous Thiocyanate in its formula, being specifically designed to not harm aluminum. The blend of resins and biocides in Trilux offer excellent antifouling protection, when properly applied over primer. While Trilux has been specifically developed for use on primed aluminum, it can also be applied to GRP, wood and other underwater metals on boats. Trilux is for use below waterline in fresh, salt and brackish water.Trilux contains Biolux® which is EXCLUSIVELY available in antifoulings from International.
